Why project
“Kurupi” ?

Kurupi is a prominent figure in South American folklore, known as a fierce guardian of the forest and protector of the wild animals.

Using Kurupi as our project namesake both embraces the importance of local history and culture, and resonates with Idyllica's pursuit to protect nature.

Kurupi, a grouped
REDD+ project

Project Kurupi is protecting the last remaining swaths of untouched forests of Paraguay. Through our own constellation of REDD+ projects and strategic planning with landowners and non-profit organizations, we will reestablish important habitat corridors and preserve parts of these exceptionally threatened ecosystems.
